Absolutely shocking! Streaky and patchy after 3 coats. Would not recommend. Lucky the legends at bunnings let me exchange for dulux! Do not waste your time or money on this product

Took the day off work, drove over 100kms to paint an apartment. Cleaned the walls, the previous (slightly off white) paint is in excellent condition, just wanting to go to vivid white. Two coats in and it's made no difference, it's like painting with water. That's a waste of my day, as I will now have to pack up, and buy a better quality paint and try again another day.

I have just finished painting my walls (interior) with 3 coats. The previous colour was a similar white to the new colour. The colour is still picture framing and not covering. I won't buy this paint ever again.

3wks later patch of paint came of wall when touched by wet hair and chalky finish as paint rubs off
Terrible. son rested wet head on bedroom wall 3 weeks after painting> paint came off/ elsewher paint rubbing away where bed touched. Taubmans unhelpful- apparently takes up to 4wks to cure.

The coverage is like painting with whitewash. This was a waste of time and money. Now I have to sand and paint again but it will be with another brand

I have used a number of paints over the years and this is the worst by far. Very bad coverage what a waste of time and money. This should not be sold.

I went to Bunnings to buy a white paint to cover light grey walls. Two coats on so far and the paint looks like a light blue. I'll try a small wall tomorrow with a third coat and if it doesn't come up white I'll take it back to Bunnings as being unfit for purpose. The paint in the tin looks very thin.

Terrible paint, I've applied two coats as recommended and it looks shockingly uneven. I specifically asked the salesperson at Bunnings if I should by Taubmans of Dulux, as I had chosen a Taubmans colour, and was given some gobbledygook answer, so I guess this is my fault? What a waste of time and money. I now have to return to Bunnings and buy an ACTUAL paint product. This product should not be on the shelves - it is an embarrassment that companies like Taubmans even have it available, and an embarrassment that Bunnings even sells it. I have another 6 litres for the non feature walls which I will be returned and demanding a refund for. DO NOT BUY THIS PAINT.

Was recommended this paint by bunnings employee when I asked for a good middle of the range paint. Needed a minimum of 3 coats to adequately cover a similar colour. So should have spent the money on a higher quality product to begin with as I have probably spent more now purchasing extra paint to allow for 3 coats.

It is like watered down pva glue. Has no hiding power at all. Emailed taubman and they never got back. I had 24l still 14l so do the sums. Cost me a fortune. Thanks taubman for nothing

This is by far the worst paint I have ever used. I have painted 4 coats now and it still has awful coverage. I feel defeated as I now stare at a half finished room. I will tell everyone to stay away from this product to save them time and money.

Save yourself the stress and heartache .... DO NOT USE !!! What a waste of annual leave this project was. 40 years of DIY painting and never ever had a problem like this. Paint pink & dries white?? You mean dries patchy, very very poor coverage. Three coats later and the paint work looked better prior to applying this product. Paint just seeps into the plaster and dries patchy. A complete waste of money. Complained to Bunnings and they said they have had nothing but complaints from customers. I don't think they will be stocking ...
Read more it any more from what they were saying. Buy Dulux a much better product . Store advised not to use in bathroom as customers complained when bathroom steamed up pink paint appeared dripping g down walls.

One under coat plus four top coats and still going. I regretfully used this product in my whole house and have probably wasted hundreds of dollars and hours upon hours applying near useless coats . 3 plus coats across the whole house and left with a very very average finish . Wish I saw these reviews earlier . Very disappointed. On the current job, 4 coats and still not adequate coverage .

Changing from a very (very) light grey to white should not require 4 coats of paint! Thought that taubmans was a well known and trusted brand, so the slightly cheaper price was attractive. Big mistake. The coverage is absolutely shocking. 3-4 coats of white over an off white is ridiculous. The work required with this crap has put me off painting anything else in the house given how long it's taken. But, at least it cleans easy off brushes, rollers and floors.

When you need 6 coats to go from beige to white, you wonder if the product is faulty. So you google it just in case and then realise that it's not actually faulty and it's just a terrible product. Do yourself a favour and avoid this line of paints if you want to save time (and money in the long run) and go with something better. A cheaper paint probably would have done a much better job.

Our new house had previously been painted light blue with a dark blue feature wall in each room. I undercoated the dark blue with a grey tinted undercoat to get near the light blue. I then was able to cover fine with 3 coats, which I consider going from colour back to white perfectly acceptable.
My first room or two I did probably have to do 4 coats, before I went and looked up some painting how tos and how pros seem to do it and realised I was not putting enough paint on. What worked for me at least was going out and buying a decent roller co...
Read more ver and then making sure every "up and down" I reapplied paint to the roller. As much paint as I could get on the wall without it running basically. Edit - months on walls still looking great. Easy to keep clean and no issues of having faded or colour showing through. Very happy with result. I've since used after a coat of undercoat to paint new plaster to a great finish with 2 coats.

Price attracted us to this product along with the very low VOC, Asthma and allergy friendly features. Painted a bedroom on the side of our house for the grandchildren to play in who suffer with asthma. The room was noticeably smelly which we thought would dissipate, Two months on and airing the room daily and the smell is still so strong. Actually permeates through the house at times. Don't let the children near the room
Never buy this product again. Any suggestions???

After 40 years of owning homes I've done a lot of painting and Taubmans Easy Coat white is without doubt the worst paint I've ever used with terrible coverage. It's so bad that I thought I can't be the only one and looked up reviews. A quick bathroom change of colour above the tiles is turning into an epic headache. After 3 coats it's still streaky and looks as though the 4th won't do it either. Really Taubmans! This is 2020. Surely you must have sorted your formulas out by now? You've been making paint for decades... how can you sell this rubbish. Don't buy this junk and save yourself time and money.

Worst coverage I have ever obtained with any brand of paint. I thought Taubmans was a reputable brand but won't get caught with their rubbish again. When you factor in the extra time needed to get the job done this paint works out to be as dear as poison. If I was after a whitewashed look where you can see everything underneath then this paint would be perfect but I actually wanted a regular finish with proper coverage. Will be returning the second can.

Very streaky. Painted over similar colour and have just applied a 4th coat to try and cover streaks. Ceiling paint also streaky after 3 coats. Very dissapointed and way too much work needed for a small area. Do not waste your money on this product.

I have a brand new can of Taubmans easy coat which I have stored carefully but not used in 2.5 years. When I looked at it a few days ago the can had rusted where the handle joins the can and the paint is oozing out. I rang Bunnings who offered No return and No customer service. Today I rang Taubmans to see if they could help. No help and No customer service. They obviously do not stand by their product and the manufacture of their cans. I have for many years in renovations used Resene paint which has wonderful coverage even for dark colours bu...
Read more t sadly my supplier of Resene has closed so I thought Taubmans might be an option. No way would I buy their product again. I have stored many paints for a number of years and never had a problem. They obviously know their product is not up to standard which is why there is no replacement. When I did open the can today and pour it in to a plastic bucket there was a large lump of what looked like plastic attached to the side of the can which was odd as the can has never been stored other than upright. I could hardly break it as it was so solid. There were rust marks through it and the other side of the can where the handle joins also has a large lump of something on it. Very odd! Save your money!
